Midnight Umbra is a concentrated parfum for the dryer. One squeeze to each wool ball, before every dry. Three balls per load.
The heat of the dryer carries the fragrance into the fabric. The wool holds it close, the cotton holds it longest. What you take out of the dryer carries the scent through folding, through wardrobes, through the moment you reach for it.
For undiluted scent, pair with a fragrance-free detergent.

Top: Night-blooming woods · Soft spice
Heart: Deep cedar · Shaded amber
Base: Rich musk · Dark vanille
A nocturnal composition. Soft spice opens into night-blooming woods, then settles into deep cedar and shaded amber. Beneath, rich musk and dark vanille hold the scent against the fabric, low and warm, the kind of register a candle reaches for at the end of the evening.

Will refills be available?
Yes. A parfum-only refill bottle will be introduced in July 2026. The wool dryer balls in Series 001 are designed to last several years, so the refill is just the fragrance, not the balls.
How long do the wool dryer balls last?
Several years with regular use. They are not consumables. Replacing the parfum bottle each time it runs out is the standard refill rhythm.
Is it safe for all fabrics?
Yes. Safe for all fabrics. Compatible with all dryer types: vented, condenser, heat pump.
Can I use it with fabric softener?
We recommend not using fabric softener with PENUM. Fabric softener coats fibres and prevents the parfum from binding to the fabric properly. For best results, use a fragrance-free liquid detergent with no softener.
